A Legacy of Fine Wines and Timeless Tradition
Exceptional Wines, Rooted in the Heart of South Tyrol
At Kornell Winery, winemaking is more than a craft—it’s a celebration of life. Our carefully curated selection of wines reflects the rich diversity of South Tyrol’s terroir.
🍷 White Wines: Elegant Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and aromatic Gewürztraminer
🍷 Red Wines: Bold Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and the distinctive Lagrein
Each wine undergoes controlled fermentation in steel vats, followed by 14 to 18 months of aging in barriques and oak barrels, and an additional 10 months of bottle maturation—allowing their full character to develop.
The Perfect Terroir for Exceptional Wines
Our family vineyards, located in Settequerce, Appiano Monte, and Gries near Bolzano, provide the foundation for healthy, high-quality grapes.
🌞 Elevation: Vines thrive at 270 to 550 meters above sea level
☀️ Sunshine: Over 2,100 hours of annual sunlight
🌙 Cool Nights: Optimal conditions for balanced ripening
🌱 Soils:
• Settequerce: Eroded, quartz-bearing porphyry
• Appiano Monte: Calcareous clay
🏔️ Exposure: South- and southwest-facing slopes for ideal sunlight absorption
These natural advantages come together to create wines of remarkable structure and depth.
